FARM INFRASTRUCTURE
The topography of the countryside is gentle, an undulating plateau marked by ranges of low hills.
It is best for livestock farming, although there have been plantations of different crops.
Improvements have been made to the soils for winter pastures (different grasses and clover), but no fertilization and weed control has been used in the past 30+ years thus changing the area into an eco-pasture.
These well managed pastures sequester carbon, filter water, feed healthy soil, provide wildlife habitat and make for a more diverse landscape.

Located on the top of a hill (42 meters above the sea level) with spectacular views of the ocean and the Rocha Lagoon.
It was built in colonial style and carefully designed with private and cozy spaces for the family and guests, by the renown Uruguayan Architect Edgar Trambauer.
He designed practical buildings, made with high-quality local materials, which ensure comfort without losing charm.
The main house is built on a single floor, around an interior patio, and has 240 square meters (2.583 square foot).

TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
For water supply it has rely on the main drinking water wells of the farmland.
There is well water that has a depth of 44 meters and it is connected to the water system for the house and animal waterers.
It also has OSE connections (one for each Padrón) and the water is distributed by a water tower (solid brick construction with a hipped roof).
The water tower has a capacity of 5.000 liters with a single-phase submersible pump in the tank.
Another 5.000 liters water tank lies hidden behind the barn and supplies the house and two intermediate tanks for the animal waterers close to the buildings.
The electric supply is triphasic alternating current 3 X 220 Volts supplied by UTE.
There is 12 KW entrance from the Route to the houses via 3 plastic conductors, installed underground from the entrance to the property.
A multi-chamber system is used for wastewater treatment.
